Letters

Letters to the editor from readers in response to articles are initially answered personally. They will only be published in Ge-Bu if they actually contain new and relevant information compared to the original article, or might give rise to a new follow-up article. As a result of the wide range of experts consulted before publication, most of the letters concern comments on aspects which have already been extensively discussed by the editorial team, and where necessary incorporated in the text, during the elaborate writing and review process prior to publishing. It is quite possible, nevertheless, that minor discrepancies may occur in the interpretation of research findings, and any errors will naturally always be rectified. If the editorial board decides to publish a letter to the editor, it will be posted on the website immediately below the article it refers to, with a comment if necessary.
